During Fire Prevention Week, the Shelby Fire and Rescue Department would like to invite you join us at our Open House Event on Thursday, October, 8, 2026, from 4-7 pm, at Fire Station 1.

Tour the fire station, sit in the fire trucks, meet the firefighters, and learn about this year’s fire safety theme, Charge Into Fire Safety.

We will have free pencils and other handouts, and Safe Kids Cleveland County will be joining us and providing cookies and lemonade!

Fire Station 1 is located at 506 East Grover Street, Shelby, NC.
