This notice is to inform the general public and the media, and in accordance with the mandates of North Carolina General Statutes 160A-71 and 143-318.12, I hereby call a Special Meeting of the Shelby City Council for Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.  The location of this meeting is the City Hall Council Chambers, 300 S. Washington Street, Shelby, North Carolina. The purpose of this special meeting is to conduct a workshop to review the Unified Development Ordinance revision.

This special meeting is open to the public.

The regular meeting schedule, as adopted by the Shelby City Council, will remain in place for all other regular Shelby City Council meetings.
