The City of Shelby has announced that Josh Humphries has been selected as the Employee of the 1st Quarter, 2026.

Josh began his career with the City in the Water Resources Department as a Field Operations Technician I in 2013. He was promoted to Field Operations Technician II in 2017, Field Operations Technician III in 2018, and Field Operations Supervisor in 2021.

In January of 2026, Josh was promoted to Field Operations Superintendent. We would like to congratulate Josh and thank him for his dedicated service to the City of Shelby and the customers we serve.
