The City of Shelby’s Natural Gas Department is conducting a survey from March 1-April 30, 2026, to assess the effectiveness of our utility outreach and public awareness about natural gas safety.
These federally mandated Gas Overall Awareness level (GOAL) surveys are conducted periodically to ensure that our customers and other stakeholders such as emergency responders, contractors, locators, excavators, and public officials have adequate information on natural gas safety protocols.
Contractor Blue Otter Solutions is conducting this survey on behalf of the City of Shelby.
