Please note the following City of Shelby office closings and changes in solid waste collection for the Christmas and New Year Holiday.
City offices will be closed Wednesday-Friday, December 24-26, in observance of the Christmas Holiday. Solid waste collection for the week of Christmas will be as follows:
Monday, December 22 - Solid waste for Monday and Tuesday will be collected.
Tuesday, December 23 – Solid waste for Wednesday, Thursday, and Uptown Shelby businesses will be collected.
City offices will be closed on Thursday, January 1 in observance of the New Year Holiday. Solid waste collection for the week of the New Year Holiday will be as follows:
Monday, December 29 – Regular Schedule
Tuesday, December 30 – Regular Schedule
Wednesday, December 31 – Wednesday, Thursday, and Uptown Shelby businesses will be collected.
