The City of Shelby Solid Waste Division is having the Fall Bulky Item Pick-up the week of October 6th-9th.
Items such as: furniture, boxes, mattresses, and bagged clothes, etc., will be picked up from the curbside. Please DO NOT mix these items with limbs, leaves and grass or place any items in the street.
Please note: The Solid Waste Division is unable to pick-up items such as: TV's, electronics, appliances, tires, building materials, paints, oils, and batteries, these items may be taken to the Cleveland County Landfill.
Bulky Items will be picked up only on the day your garbage is scheduled for pick up.
Items placed or left on the curb after October 9th will be subject to citations and fines.
There will be no brush collection during Bulky Item pick up week.
