The City of Shelby is a full service utility community. The Shelby utilities system is a municipally owned and operated public utility system which provides water, wastewater, electric and natural gas services to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
Whether it’s your business or home, Shelby Utilities takes pride in providing our customers with continuous utility services. Always providing prompt, courteous, professional utility service for all our customers 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
In addition to the four utilities, the Utilities Department offers the services of a Marketing Department and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Department.
