Under the direct supervision of the Purchasing Manager, the City of Shelby Warehouse Division’s goal is to provide a quick and cost effective means for the City’s divisions and departments to acquire commonly used materials and supplies. Because of quantities ordered, the Warehouse is able to obtain discounts that might not be offered to individual departments. The Warehouse maintains a modern computerized inventory system and storage facility. The Warehouse is operated in a structured professional manner by knowledgeable employees.
