In order for our department to be well educated about the crimes and crime trends taking place in the City of Shelby, we hold monthly CrimeStat meetings. 

At these meetings, staff members are shown statistics and crime patterns from the previous month.  Each of the catagories of crime are discussed and strategies are put in place to lessen the number of crimes being commited.
