TRIAD
TRIAD was formed in the summer of 1986 by three aspiring musicians from Rutherford County, North Carolina. The band started playing local venues almost immediately. We, as a group decided not to get stuck in a rut as a garage band, but to perform in public as quickly as possible so as to not get burned out on practicing the same old tunes in the same old place. We quickly built a large local following by playing small clubs in our region. Through the early years we had the opportunity to open for and perform with several top rated recording groups such as the "Artimus Pyle Band" which included members of "Lynyrd Skynyrd", also Leon Wilkerson of "Lynyrd Skynyrd", and also a hot regional act "Nantucket". This was a great learning experience for the band and also gave us some much needed exposure to the "real" rock-n-roll scene. Later, as the members matured, we all went on to what we considered bigger and better things as far as our music careers were concerned. So the group dissolved after just three short years as we were all searching for that dream that we thought would come with somebody else on down the road. We have been to the ends of the earth and returned having realized that the best it could ever be was with the original members plus the addition of a new bass player. We're back together for another run at the best rock-n-roll band in America.

Rocky Yelton & The Hired Guns
Rocky is a vocalist with that rich “old school” tone who can amp it up doing the modern country and southern rock or just lay back and do some old Hank Sr standards. He is a former tough man champ who loves to belt out some good ol country music. Rocky has done shows through out the southeast as well as performing for General Motors as an opener for the 2004 Indianapolis 500. Rocky has performed in Branson Missouri on several occasions at casinos and at the Jim Stafford music complex; he has also performed at several shows within the Great Smokey Mountains and won several local and regional singer compitions. Whether it be "old" school or the newest in Country Music, Rocky's got it covered... |
