Responsibilities
The Inspections Department reviews plans, issues permits and provides inspections for the City and the ETJ. Minimum Housing Enforcement is also a responsibility within the City. Permits are needed for the following:

New construction
Additions
Alterations
Repairs
Signs
Electrical work
Mechanical work
Plumbing work
Gas work
