Mr. Mabry was elected to Ward 1 in October 2005 and re-elected in October 2009. Mr. Mabry is a Shelby native and a graduate of Shelby High School. He received a BS degree in Business Administration from Appalachian State University. He and his wife, Leigh, have two sons, Hayes and James. Mr. Mabry is a partner in a family business, Shelby Printing Company, founded in 1923.
